MHW Real Estate and La Michoacana Costa proudly announce the grand opening of La Michoacana Costa, an all-natural ice cream, yogurt, and smoothie shop. Nestled within the burgeoning Robinson Plaza development, located at 27605 Robinson Road, Oak Ridge North, this is La Michoacana Costa’s second location in Montgomery County.
Tony Diaz is the heart behind La Michoacana Costa, and for him it has always been more than a business. It’s a family affair. Diaz teamed up with his wife, Mary and daughter, Daisy, to build a business that delights the community and their loyal customers with sumptuous, all-natural treats.
Loyalty to La Michoacana Costa and their commitment to quality runs deep. Customers drive in from all over Houston and Spring to the Conroe location. “It’s because all our treats are all-natural and made fresh. This includes 30 flavors of ice cream and 80 flavors of popsicles – all sugar free,” says Daisy Diaz. “We have something for everyone including yogurts, smoothies and milkshakes.” she adds.

After 5 years of success in the Conroe location, Tony Diaz partnered with MHW’s Ron Brown, Director of the Retail Division, to secure space in Robinson Plaza in Oak Ridge North. “Robinson Plaza is the perfect location, strategically situated between Oak Ridge North and The Woodlands, and serving as the “back door” to Imperial Oaks,” says Brown. “We knew the busy area would attract new customers and provide a convenient location for Tony’s long-time followers.”
Robinson Plaza’s diverse tenant roster includes prominent names like Domino’s and Baja Island, marking La Michoacana Costa as a significant addition to the mix. The area is also prime for growth, holding a promise of increased accessibility with the upcoming road-widening plans and offering a diverse mix of light industrial, retail, and restaurant spaces.
